Motorola XT860 4G Review

Motorola's recently released DROID 3 smartphone for Verizon Wireless has received a maple-dipped makeover and will be headed to Bell in Canada as the XT860 4G. The XT860 4G retains many of the same features as the DROID 3, though it has dropped the CDMA radio for "4G" HSPA+ support.
The XT860 4G has the same 4-inch, qHD (540 x 960 pixel) display as its American cousin, and is powered by the same dual-core, 1GHz processor. The 5-row QWERTY keyboard is present and accounted for, and both the rear camera, which is 8 megapixels and shoots 1080p video, and the front camera for video chats are included. There is 16GB of internal storage, and the XT860 4G features support for up to 32GB microSD cards. Motorola claims the XT860 4G is the worlds thinnest full-QWERTY smartphone, but they fail to provide a measurement to back up that boasting (the DROID 3 measures 12.7mm (0.5in), so take that as you will).
You will find Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Motorola's custom interface running on the XT860 4G, and a Connected Music Player powered by TuneWiki is included. Bell will have exclusive rights in Canada to the XT860 4G when it launches later this summer, but the carrier did not provide a release date or price yet.
